Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your best chance to make a great first impression on buyers from a street perspective. The pluses and minuses that jump out at buyers shape their first thoughts about your home and how you upkeep house's regular maintenance.
Acknowledging this assists us in deciding what plan of action we can use to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your home isn't the best it can look on the outside with refreshed paint and blooming garden plants it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Could a buyer envision themselves enjoying game night in your living room, relaxing in your spa tub or studying in your home office? We want your house to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of comfort. I'll help you do this by suggesting changes that highlight the features of your place.
I'll tell you put out of sight items that give the appearance of clutter. Tabletops should be cleared off. Brick-a-brack, souvenirs, family photos, and play time drawings should get stored away too. We need to "generalize" the place so buyers can perceive it as their new home.
I'll look over every room of your home. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need new paint, rugs needing to get changed, fixtures that need brightening, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively affect the sale.
We'll make sure your house is appealing and that it's welcoming, avoiding "offensive" or "too-bright" colors on the walls and furniture. And if the house is vacant, you can try borrowing furnishings. You want your place to look lived in as opposed to bare and uninhabited.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when your home is ready to host an Open House, because everything comes together to create a picture of what buyers can look forward to when they consider buying your house. To eliminate shadows a mood changer and we'll draw back curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and assure a nice scent flows room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking throws, and place pillows on your loveseat and bed. Buyers should feel like your home is their future home. |
